The Bilstein B8 5100 Front Shock is engineered to improve front suspension control and provide adjustable lift for the 6th-Gen 4Runner. Designed around Bilstein’s proven monotube technology, it enhances both ride quality and overall vehicle handling.

Design

Bilstein developed the B8 5100 with multiple snap-ring grooves along the shock body, allowing precise adjustment of the spring seat position. This enables users to achieve front lift while retaining factory coil springs and maintaining proper geometry.

Performance

A 46-millimeter digressive piston paired with a self-adjusting deflective disc valve system delivers responsive damping characteristics. The design improves stability, reduces body roll, and enhances control across varying terrain and load conditions.

Construction

The monotube shock design promotes efficient heat dissipation and consistent damping performance under continuous use. Built to withstand demanding environments, the shock maintains reliability and performance over extended service life.

Ride Height
