Throttle Response Controller for 6th-Gen 4Runner (2025–Present)

The Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller provides 6th-Gen 4Runner drivers with adjustable control over electronic accelerator response. Rather than leaving throttle sensitivity fixed to the factory calibration, the controller allows response characteristics to be tailored to the way the vehicle is being driven.

Electronic throttle systems introduce a delay between accelerator input and throttle response. Pedal Commander modifies the pedal signal before it reaches the ECU, helping create a more immediate response for a quicker reaction.

Different conditions can call for different levels of sensitivity. The controller lets drivers choose a response that supports controlled inputs on technical terrain while offering more immediate acceleration for open trails or pavement.

Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+ modes provide four distinct responses. Each mode includes nine sensitivity levels, giving drivers 36 total settings that can be adjusted to match terrain, traffic, vehicle load, and personal driving preference.

The controller connects to the factory accelerator pedal system without requiring cutting, permanent wiring changes, or specialized tools. Installation takes fifteen minutes and can be completely reversed if the controller is removed.
