Corgrit Coverage Shipping Protection Policy

We want you to feel confident that your Corgrit order is protected during shipment. While Corgrit takes every precaution to ensure safe delivery, unforeseen events such as damage, loss, theft, or misdelivery can occur. Corgrit Coverage Shipping Protection (“Coverage”) is designed to provide customers with optional, added protection for physically shipped products purchased on https://www.corgrit.com.

This Corgrit Coverage Shipping Protection Policy (“Policy”) governs the rights, obligations, procedures, and limitations applicable to shipping protection for products purchased via https://www.corgrit.com (the “Site”). By purchasing Corgrit Coverage Shipping Protection, the purchaser (“Customer”) expressly acknowledges and agrees to the terms set forth herein and further agrees to be bound by Corgrit’s Terms and Conditions, Return Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy.

Corgrit (“we,” “us,” or “our”) endeavors to maintain the highest standards of shipping safety and protection; however, circumstances may arise during transit, including loss, damage, theft, or misdelivery. This Policy is intended to provide full transparency regarding eligibility, coverage, claims procedures, timelines, exclusions, and Customer responsibilities, ensuring that Customers understand the scope and limitations of Corgrit Coverage Shipping Protection.

This Policy outlines eligibility, coverage limits, exclusions, claim procedures, and how Coverage interacts with Corgrit’s Return, Refund, and Shipping Policies. Please read it carefully to understand your rights, obligations, and the process for making a claim. Scope and Applicability

Corgrit Coverage Shipping Protection applies to eligible physically shipped products within the United States. International shipments may be eligible in limited cases; contact Corgrit Customer Service for guidance.

  • Coverage protects packages from shipping loss, theft, damage, or destruction, including misdelivery caused by the carrier.
  • Limitations: Coverage does not apply in cases of customer negligence, pre-existing damage, or normal aesthetic scuffing, scratches, or minor dents on products shipped on open pallets (e.g., leaf springs).
  • Coverage complements and interacts with Corgrit’s existing Return, Refund, and Shipping Policies, providing an additional layer of protection during transit.

Coverage is optional and must be purchased at the time of checkout.

Eligibility

To be eligible for Coverage:

  • Coverage must be added to the order before shipment. Pre-selected boxes in the cart may be unselected, but coverage must be confirmed at checkout.
  • Any changes to the cart after initial selection require re-checking the Coverage box to ensure full protection.
  • All physically shipped products are eligible except those explicitly excluded (see §5).

Adding Coverage ensures that your shipment is protected from loss or damage once it leaves Corgrit’s shipping facility.

Start and End of Coverage

Coverage begins once the package is in the carrier’s possession and ends when:

  • The package is delivered to the Customer undamaged.
  • A claim for loss, damage, or theft is submitted and resolved (approved or denied).
  • Coverage does not extend to damage that occurs after delivery or from improper handling by the Customer.

Timely claims submission is critical to ensure eligibility for reimbursement.

Filing a Claim Costs

Customers must contact Corgrit Customer Service at [email protected] to initiate a claim. To process a claim efficiently, provide:

  • Photos or videos of the damaged item(s), packaging, or shipment.
  • Carrier documentation or tracking reports.
  • Police reports or other relevant documentation in cases of theft.
  • Timestamps and any additional evidence requested by Corgrit to verify the claim.

Claims must be submitted promptly, generally within 5 days of delivery or discovery of the issue. Late claims may be denied.

Coverage Benefits

Upon approval, Corgrit Coverage Shipping Protection may provide:

  • Replacement of lost, stolen, or destroyed items.
  • Repair or partial refund for items damaged in transit, depending on severity.
  • Shipping costs for replacements incurred by Corgrit.
  • Resolution in coordination with Corgrit’s Return and Refund Policies to ensure seamless handling of covered shipments.

Coverage is designed to restore your shipment to the condition at the time it left Corgrit, including repair or replacement as needed.

Exclusions

Coverage does not apply in the following situations:

  • Damage due to customer negligence, improper handling, or tampering.
  • Cosmetic scuffs, minor scratches, or small dents on products shipped on open pallets.
  • Items not physically shipped, digital goods, or intangible products.
  • Damages resulting from natural disasters, acts of God, or carrier negligence outside Corgrit’s control, unless specified otherwise.
  • Items shipped internationally without prior approval.
  • Packages refused, held, or rerouted by the Customer.
  • Pre-existing damage prior to shipment.

Excluded items are not covered under any circumstances, and claims for these items may be denied.

Interaction with Other Policies

  • Corgrit Coverage Shipping Protection complements Corgrit’s Return, Refund, and Shipping Policies, ensuring that Customers have additional recourse in the event of shipping issues.
  • Coverage does not replace or override manufacturer warranties, which govern repair or replacement of defective items.
  • In cases where a shipment is both covered and eligible for return under the Return Policy, Corgrit will coordinate remedies to prevent double compensation.

This ensures consistency across all Corgrit policies while providing added protection during shipping.

Customer Responsibilities, or Unclaimed Shipments

To maintain Coverage eligibility, Customers must:

  • Confirm their shipping address at checkout.
  • Inspect packages upon delivery and report visible damage immediately.
  • Preserve packaging, evidence, and documentation for claims.
  • Respond promptly to Corgrit requests for additional proof or information during claim review.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in claim denial or partial coverage.

Fraud and Abuse Prevention

To maintain the integrity of Corgrit Coverage Shipping Protection, Corgrit reserves the right to prevent fraudulent or abusive practices.

  • Corgrit reserves the right to deny claims suspected of fraud or abuse.
  • Customers making false, misleading, or repeated claims may lose eligibility for Coverage.
  • Coverage may be rescinded in cases of material misrepresentation, non-payment, or suspected misconduct, at Corgrit’s sole discretion.

Policy Changes

Corgrit reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Site following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
