Old Man Emu suspension systems are engineered as matched packages to maintain proper geometry and ride consistency. Each component is tuned to provide maximum control and stability for Tacomas carrying significant front and rear accessory loads.

The MT64 struts and shocks feature a large 64-millimeter monotube design with extensive oil capacity, allowing precise damping and exceptional thermal management. This design ensures consistent ride quality and improved vehicle handling across all terrains.

The front coil springs are tuned for 220 to 330 pounds of additional load, while the rear leaf springs and MT64 shocks accommodate up to 600 pounds. This configuration minimizes suspension sag, maintains travel, and preserves ride control under heavy equipment.

Approximately 2 inches of lift at both ends enhances ground clearance and approach/departure angles. Adjustable front spring seats provide flexibility to optimize ride height and suspension balance based on vehicle configuration and accessory load.
