BP-51 Front Driver-Side Remote-Reservoir Coilover with 3 in Lift and 0–330 lb Load Rating for Land Cruiser 250 Series (2024–Present)

The Old Man Emu BP-51 Remote-Reservoir Coilover features a large-bore, position-sensitive damping system. Configured for a 3-inch lift and 0–330-pound load rating, it combines adjustable damping with increased oil capacity and end-zone control. The coilover is designed to provide a comfortable ride during everyday driving while delivering the chassis control needed when the vehicle leaves the pavement.

The BP-51 coilover offers 10 compression and 10 rebound settings, allowing the two to be adjusted separately. This gives the suspension a broad tuning range for adapting its response to different terrain, setups, and driving conditions.

As the coilover moves through its travel, its position-sensitive damping changes according to shock position. This provides additional control where it is needed while maintaining the ride comfort expected during normal road use.

Internal bypass technology provides damping at the end zones of suspension travel. By adding control near the limits of compression and extension, the system manages the coilover's response as it approaches the ends of its stroke.

Despite its focus on off-road capability, the BP-51 is designed to retain considerable ride comfort around town. Its adjustable damping allows the suspension response to be tailored rather than fixed to a single damping characteristic.
