Old Man Emu engineers suspension systems as complete packages rather than individual upgrades. Each component is tuned and matched to ensure balanced ride height, controlled suspension movement, and dependable load support. This design philosophy allows the suspension to perform consistently even as additional equipment is installed on the vehicle.

Internal bypass shock absorbers provide position-sensitive damping throughout the suspension travel range. This allows improved comfort over smaller bumps while maintaining strong control during larger impacts.

Ten levels of compression adjustment and ten levels of rebound adjustment allow on-vehicle tuning. Drivers can easily adapt suspension behavior to terrain conditions and vehicle load.

Rear springs are engineered to support substantial additional weight from equipment such as rear bumpers, cargo systems, and recovery gear while maintaining proper ride height.

Remote reservoirs increase oil capacity for improved heat management during extended off-road use. The hard anodized aluminum shock body improves corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
