The Bilstein B8 8112 ZoneControl CR DSA+ Front Driver-Side Remote-Reservoir Coilover is built for 5th-Gen 4Runner configurations where precise suspension tuning and a wider lift range are priorities. It combines a 1.5–3.8-inch adjustable ride height with sophisticated damping controls that allow the suspension to be tailored to the vehicle and terrain.

DSA+ provides separate low- and high-speed compression adjustment through click adjusters, allowing the damping response to be refined for different driving conditions without replacing valving or disassembling the coilover.

ZoneControl CR shocks use a triple-piston design with three stages of compression and two stages of rebound valving. Position-sensitive operation changes damping based on where the suspension is operating within its travel.

An adjustable internal hydraulic bump stop adds support as the coilover approaches the end of its compression stroke. This helps manage large movements and gives the system another parameter for fine-tuning impact response.

The spring seat provides a 1.5–3.8-inch lift range, while the remote reservoir adds volume to support heat management. Together, these features provide a configurable front platform suited to both road driving and off-road use.
