The Old Man Emu BP-51 Suspension Kit gives the 6th-Gen 4Runner a front-focused lift configuration with adjustable damping and upgraded front suspension geometry. The system raises the front by 3 inches while leaving the rear at 0 inches, creating a setup centered on front ride-height adjustment rather than a full-vehicle lift.

The BP-51 system uses an internal-bypass design with position-sensitive damping, which changes based on the shock's position through its travel, providing a system that can respond differently as operating conditions change.

Compression and rebound are independently adjustable across 10 levels. Separate adjustment ranges allow the coilovers and shocks to be refined according to the vehicle's setup and the conditions in which the 4Runner is driven.

The billet front upper control arms are designed to work alongside the increased front ride height. By helping correct the lifted front suspension geometry, they complement the BP-51 coilovers as part of the overall front-end configuration.

Old Man Emu develops the BP-51 components as a tuned and matched system. The coordinated front and rear components are designed to provide consistent suspension behavior rather than combining unrelated damping components.
