3/16 in Steel Rear Differential Skid Plate for 6th-Gen 4Runner (2025–Present)

The C4 Fabrication Differential Skid Plate is engineered to protect critical drivetrain components on the 6th-Gen 4Runner platform during demanding off-road travel. This skid plate reinforces the rear differential housing while extending forward coverage to safeguard the driveshaft yoke and U-joint assembly from direct rock impacts and trail debris strikes. Built from steel, the design balances structural rigidity with practical weight management.

This skid plate is constructed from 3/16-inch mild steel plate that disperses impact forces across a reinforced surface. The forward extension provides additional protection for drivetrain joints when navigating technical trail obstacles.

The extended geometry reduces direct exposure of the differential housing to rocks and trail obstacles. Low-profile mounting preserves ground clearance while maintaining protective coverage. Factory mounting points allow stable integration with the rear axle.

A steel differential skid plate helps prevent differential cover damage by redirecting impact forces away from critical rear-end drivetrain components. Forward coverage protects the driveshaft yoke and U-joint assembly from trail strikes.

Mild steel construction provides strong impact resistance and long-term durability. Protective paint or powder coat is recommended before installation to prevent corrosion. The material resists bending and structural fatigue from repeated trail contact.
