The Bilstein B8 8112 ZoneControl CR DSA+ Front Driver-Side Remote-Reservoir Coilover is designed for 5th-Gen 4Runner models with the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System where suspension tuning needs to extend beyond fixed damping. Its combination of position-sensitive control and user-adjustable compression allows the coilover to be configured for changing terrain, vehicle loads, and driving conditions.

DSA+ adds user-controlled dual-speed compression adjustment through easily accessible click adjusters. Independent low- and high-speed compression tuning gives control over how the suspension responds to different surfaces.

A triple-piston design delivers three stages of compression and two stages of rebound valving. Position-sensitive damping helps provide control across different sections of the stroke rather than relying on a single damping characteristic.

An adjustable internal hydraulic bump stop provides additional control near the end of compression travel, helping manage larger suspension inputs and giving another layer of tuning capability when the vehicle on aggressive terrain.

The remote reservoir increases oil capacity for heat management. The spring seat provides adjustment throughout the 1.2–3.5-inch lift range, allowing the ride height to be tailored to the 4Runner's configuration and intended use
