DV8 Offroad designed this rear shock skid plate pair to absorb trail impacts that typically strike the lower-most area of the suspension. By adding a steel guard across both shock mounts, the system reduces the likelihood of shock body contact, leaks, or mount deformation. The bolt-on design eliminates modification work, making the upgrade accessible to daily-driven vehicles and overland builds. Integrated drains maintain long-term durability by allowing water and sediment to escape after stream crossings or mud exposure.

Panels follow the contour of the rear shock mounts and axle housing to minimize exposure while preserving ground clearance. Laser-cut DV8 Offroad branding is included without compromising structural integrity. Profiled edges and formed bends increase rigidity while keeping the overall footprint close to factory suspension geometry.

Direct-fit bolt-on design for 5th-Gen 4Runner models. Not compatible with TRD Pro models equipped with OEM Fox shocks, Off Set RTT shocks, or Icon RXT-style rear shocks. Hardware required for vehicle mounting is included; hardware for attaching accessories to the plates is not included.
