Overview

DV8 Offroad developed the Centric Series Front Bumper to improve approach readiness and expand lighting without compromising the 4Runner’s original body line. The mid-width profile shields critical front-end components yet maintains ground clearance for breakover zones. Winch integration remains fully internal behind the faceplate, preserving exterior styling while providing an immediate recovery option on demanding terrain.

Construction

Formed from a combination of 3.5 mm and 5 mm steel plates, the bumper balances structural reinforcement with reduced bulk. One-inch-thick recovery lugs provide solid shackle anchoring for extraction scenarios, while welded tabs along the backside keep wiring secured and protected from abrasion.

Design

Recessed light bar placement lowers glare and maintains airflow across the grille. Optional pod light pockets sit outboard for increased spread, and the bumper retains functional alignment with factory fog light positions. Clearances are engineered to preserve front camera visibility and to maintain compatibility with adaptive cruise control.

Lighting

Support for a 20-inch, single-row light bar provides concentrated forward projection, complemented by two dedicated 3-inch pod positions for flood or spot coverage. Electrical routing passes through built-in tie points to keep harnessing organized and sheltered.

Winches

The low-profile, internal winch cradle accepts a range of winch sizes for recovery preparedness. LED pod lights may obstruct manual clutch access on some winches, and a wireless controller is recommended when pod mounts are occupied.
