Ride-Rite Rear Air Spring Kit for 1st-Gen Tacoma 4WD and PreRunner (1995–2004)

The Firestone Ride-Rite Rear Air Spring Kit gives the 1st-Gen Tacoma adjustable support for carrying additional weight while helping preserve a balanced, controlled ride. Installed between the frame and rear suspension, the air springs work alongside the factory leaf springs to manage changing cargo demands and improve vehicle response under load.

Heavy loads place considerable stress on factory springs, causing compression and sag over time. This Ride-Rite system provides supplemental support to help distribute the load, maintain ride height, and reduce suspension bottoming.

The air springs can be independently adjusted, allowing the Tacoma to accommodate off-center cargo and uneven weight. This flexibility helps maintain a more balanced stance when hauling equipment or carrying undistributed loads.

Air springs absorb road shock and reduce interleaf friction in the springs. This additional cushioning can improve ride quality under load, helping the Tacoma feel more composed over uneven pavement and changing road surfaces.
