Coil-Rite Rear Air Spring Kit for 2nd-Gen Sequoia (2017–2022)

The Firestone Coil-Rite Rear Air Spring Kit provides the 2nd-Gen Sequoia with additional flexibility in managing rear suspension performance. Designed to work within the factory coil springs, the system adds adjustable support when the vehicle carries additional passengers, cargo, or equipment. This allows drivers to better manage ride height and suspension response without replacing the original springs.

As the load increases, the rear suspension compresses, altering the vehicle's stance. Air springs provide supplemental resistance to control sag, supporting a more level ride height and improved balance when carrying added weight.

The air springs create a variable spring rate that changes with inflation. Greater pressure provides firmer suspension support under heavier conditions, while reduced pressure allows a softer response when the vehicle is lightly loaded.

Each air spring can be adjusted independently using a conventional air source. Drivers can add or release air much like inflating a tire, making it easy to adapt suspension performance as cargo, passenger count, or conditions change.

The adjustable design lets the rear suspension retain a compliant response when unloaded. When the Sequoia is loaded, increased resistance helps provide a steadier ride for passengers and greater control over suspension movement.
