Ride-Rite Rear Air Spring Kit for 4th-Gen Tacoma 4WD with Rear Leaf Spring Suspension (2024–Present)

The Firestone Ride-Rite Rear Air Spring Kit provides supplemental load support for the 4th-Gen Tacoma 4WD equipped with factory rear leaf springs. Additional cargo and equipment can place sustained demands on the rear suspension, contributing to reduced ride height and less controlled vehicle behavior.

Two convoluted air springs provide support on either side of the axle. Because each spring can be adjusted independently, pressure can be tailored to accommodate undistributed cargo and help maintain a more balanced stance.

The air springs help compensate for suspension compression and reduce rear-end sag. Maintaining a more level vehicle position can also help preserve headlight alignment and support more consistent steering and braking response.

Air springs soften the interaction between the axle and frame, reducing the likelihood of bottoming out under weight. They also limit the effects of sustained weight on the factory leaf springs, maintaining ride height over time.

When properly inflated, the air springs help absorb road vibrations and reduce interleaf friction. This added cushioning contributes to a more controlled ride, particularly when the truck is carrying cargo or traveling over uneven surfaces.
