Ride-Rite Rear Air Spring Kit for 2nd-Gen Tacoma Base RWD (2005–2015)

This Ride-Rite kit provides supplemental suspension support for the 2nd-Gen Tacoma Base RWD. When cargo, tools, or other equipment add weight to the rear of the truck, the factory leaf springs can experience increased compression and reduced ride height. This kit adds adjustable air spring support to help the suspension better support those changing demands.

The kit uses two convoluted air springs that can be adjusted independently. This allows each side of the rear suspension to receive support, making the setup useful when cargo or equipment creates an uneven load across the truck.

Air springs help reduce rear sag and excessive suspension compression under load. By maintaining a consistent ride height, the system also supports more predictable handling and braking performance when carrying added weight.

The air springs install between the vehicle frame and suspension, supplementing the factory leaf springs. Their adjustable design provides additional support when needed while allowing pressure to be reduced for lighter-load driving.

Separate inflation valves allow the air springs to be adjusted using an external air source. This straightforward arrangement gives owners direct control over suspension pressure without requiring an onboard compressor or electronics.
