The LensunSolar Flexible Hood Solar Panel is built with Grade A PERC monocrystalline cells, offering higher conversion efficiency and durability compared to standard panels. These cells are sealed beneath an ETFE film surface that improves light transmission while resisting UV, heat, and wear. At just 3 mm thick, the panel is lightweight and flexible, yet engineered to withstand harsh conditions such as hail, snow, and trail debris for long-term use.

Tailored specifically for the Toyota Tacoma hood, the panel provides a precision fit that integrates cleanly with vehicle lines. Its flexible composition conforms to the surface, eliminating the need for roof racks or bulky hardware while maintaining a streamlined profile. The ETFE finish reduces glare while driving and protects against environmental exposure. For added paint protection, Lensun offers an optional vinyl decal layer between the hood and panel.

Rated at 100 Watt peak output with 25% efficiency, the panel maintains reliable charging for starter and auxiliary batteries as well as portable power stations. Standard MC4-compatible connectors ensure simple integration, while optional adaptors expand compatibility with brands such as Jackery and Goal Zero. When paired with the Lensun 10A Waterproof MPPT controller, the system offers optimized charging, multi-battery support, and safeguards against overcharging and reverse polarity.

Installation
