DV8 Offroad 4 mm Steel Rear Shock and Link Mount Skid Plates for 4th-Gen Tacoma (2024–Present) - Pair

Each skid plate is manufactured from 4-millimeter steel to create a durable shield for vulnerable suspension components located near the rear axle. The single-piece structure improves strength while helping distribute impact forces away from the lower shock mounts and suspension links.

Lower shock mounts and suspension links often sit in exposed positions that can be struck by rocks or debris when off-roading. These skid plates create a protective barrier that helps prevent direct impacts, reducing the likelihood of damaging shocks or suspension.

Integrated drain holes are positioned at the lowest point of each skid plate to prevent the buildup of water, mud, and sand. This feature helps maintain proper drainage and makes it easier to rinse away debris after off-road driving in wet or dusty environments.

The design has been verified to fit vehicles equipped with original equipment shocks as well as Eibach aftermarket shocks. This flexibility allows owners to maintain suspension upgrades while still benefiting from additional underbody protection.

A fully bolt-on mounting system allows the skid plates to be installed directly using factory hardware without cutting or modification. In certain cases, vehicles equipped with factory wheels may require a half-inch wheel spacer to ensure proper clearance.
