Overview

The Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller gives 2nd-Gen Sequoia owners greater control over how the accelerator responds to pedal input. It modifies the electronic signal sent from the accelerator pedal to the ECU, allowing throttle sensitivity to be adjusted without altering the engine's factory power output.

Performance

Modern throttle systems interpret pedal movement and control throttle response through the ECU. Pedal Commander changes that signal mapping to reduce the delay between pressing the accelerator and receiving engine response.

Control

Drivers can adjust throttle response from the controller or the Pedal Commander app. This makes switching between modes and sensitivity levels convenient when moving between city streets, highways, towing duties, and trails.

Settings

Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+ modes offer four distinct vehicle throttle response profiles. Each mode includes nine sensitivity levels, providing 36 total configurations that can be adjusted as vehicle use and driving conditions change.

Installation

The controller plugs directly into the factory accelerator pedal connection and requires no cutting, rewiring, or specialized tools. Installation takes approximately fifteen minutes and can be removed without leaving permanent modifications.
