Overview

The Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller provides 1st-Gen Sequoia drivers with adjustable control over accelerator sensitivity. By modifying the electronic signal between the accelerator pedal and ECU, it allows throttle response to be tailored to different driving situations without changing the vehicle's underlying power output.

Performance

Factory electronic throttle programming can create a noticeable delay between pedal input and engine response. Pedal Commander remaps the accelerator signal to provide a more immediate response with adjustable sensitivity.

Control

A more responsive accelerator can make everyday driving feel more direct, particularly during merging, passing, and highway acceleration. Adjustable sensitivity also lets drivers select a calmer response for smooth, measured inputs.

Settings

Four driving modes, Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+, provide distinct accelerator throttle characteristics, with nine sensitivity levels within each mode. The 36 total configurations cover a wide range of driving preferences and conditions.

Installation

The controller connects directly to the factory accelerator pedal connector without cutting wires, modifying the harness, or requiring specialized tools. Installation takes approximately fifteen minutes and remains fully reversible.
