Overview

The Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller gives the 4th-Gen Tacoma a customizable accelerator feel without altering the engine's factory power output. It works through the electronic throttle system, allowing drivers to change how aggressively the vehicle responds to accelerator input.

Control

Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+ offer different throttle-response characteristics, while nine sensitivity levels within each mode provide 36 total configurations. Settings can be changed as driving conditions or preferences change.

Security

Through the mobile app, an optional subscription-based anti-theft feature can disable the accelerator pedal while the Tacoma is unattended. It provides additional security for vehicles left at trailheads, campsites, and work sites.

Design

The Tacoma can handle pavement, trails, towing duties, and loaded overland travel in a single trip. Adjustable throttle sensitivity lets drivers choose a response for slow technical sections, open-road acceleration, or heavier loads.

Installation

The controller connects to the factory accelerator pedal connector without cutting wires or modifying the electrical harness. Installation takes fifteen minutes and requires no specialized tools and leaves the factory system intact.
