Overview

The DV8 Offroad MTO Series Bed Rack provides a versatile cargo support system designed to expand storage and equipment mounting capability for the Toyota Tacoma. Its adjustable two-piece architecture allows compatibility with different bed configurations while maintaining a stable platform for rooftop tents, recovery tools, and expedition equipment.

Construction

Built from 3- to 5-millimeter steel plate, the rack structure resists torsion and vibration during off-road driving. Internal reinforcement improves structural durability under heavy equipment loads. The powder coat finish helps protect against corrosion and environmental exposure.

Cargo

Eight interior D-ring tie-down anchors secure cargo loads. Mounting plates support RotopaX containers, allowing either two one-gallon containers or two three-gallon containers with extensions. Hi-Lift style jack mounting hardware is included.

Durability

The micro-textured powder-coat finish improves resistance against corrosion, surface abrasion, and environmental exposure. The steel structure is designed to maintain rigidity under vibration stress conditions typical of off-road travel.

Installation

Bolt-on installation avoids permanent vehicle modification. Factory bedside rail mounts may be used, depending on the Tacoma's configuration. Some bedliner storage systems may interfere with accessory mounting clearance.
