The Old Man Emu BP-51 Rear Remote-Reservoir Shock is engineered specifically for the 3rd-Gen Tundra, combining a large-bore position-sensitive bypass design with independently adjustable damping. Its 0–2-inch lift configuration provides a dedicated rear shock application, while the remote reservoir and high-capacity aluminum construction support consistent operation during both everyday driving and extended off-road use.

The BP-51 uses position-sensitive bypass technology to alter damping based on the shock's position, providing different levels of damping through the stroke rather than maintaining one response from compression to full extension.

Internal-bypass technology increases damping control through the travel end zones. The bypass design manages fluid flow according to piston position, providing control as the shock approaches the limits of its operating range.

A 51-millimeter internal bore establishes the foundation of the BP-51's large-bore platform. The large internal diameter provides substantial working volume for the shock's damping system and contributes to its broad tuning capability.
