The Old Man Emu BP-51 Rear Remote-Reservoir Shocks bring adjustable, position-sensitive damping to the rear suspension of the 3rd-Gen Tundra. Tuned and matched specifically as a suspension system, the pair is designed to increase comfort and control across a 0–2-inch lift range while providing extensive adjustment for different vehicle configurations and driving conditions.

The BP-51 uses internal-bypass design technology to vary damping based on shock position, providing different damping levels and supporting controlled movement without relying on a fixed response throughout the entire stroke.

Independent adjustment is provided for both compression and rebound, with 10 levels available for each. This allows the damping characteristics to be fine-tuned directly on the vehicle to suit changes in load, terrain, and conditions.

The remote reservoirs provide additional shock oil volume. The increased oil capacity supports cooling and consistent performance during extended off-road use, where the shocks can experience sustained operating demands.
