Coil-Rite Rear Air Spring Kit for 1st-Gen FJ Cruiser (2007–2014)

The Firestone Coil-Rite Rear Air Spring Kit is designed to give the 1st-Gen FJ Cruiser greater flexibility when its rear suspension is subjected to changing loads. By adding adjustable air support within the factory coil springs, the system helps manage additional weight while maintaining a more controlled and balanced ride.

These air springs provide supplemental support when inflated. Their variable spring rate lets them respond dynamically to loads and limit excessive compression without making the suspension unnecessarily firm during lighter use.

Independent valves let each air spring inflate using a standard air source. Adding or releasing air changes the amount of support available, making it easy to adapt the suspension for everyday driving, loaded trips, or different conditions.

The system provides a firmer spring response when needed and a softer response when the vehicle is unloaded. This adjustable behavior balances passenger comfort with the rear control required for carrying cargo and equipment.

The air springs fit within the factory coil springs, using the existing suspension arrangement rather than requiring drilling. Air hoses, inflation valves, and installation hardware provide the components needed to complete the system.
