Throttle Response Controller for 1st-Gen FJ Cruiser (2007–2014)

The Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller gives 1st-Gen FJ Cruiser drivers adjustable control over accelerator sensitivity. By modifying the electronic signal between the accelerator pedal and ECU, it provides a customizable throttle response without requiring permanent changes to the vehicle's engine management system.

Factory electronic throttle calibration is designed to balance a range of conditions, which can create a delay between the pedal and engine. Pedal Commander alters the signal mapping to make accelerator response feel more immediate.

Throttle control is crucial when navigating rocks and technical obstacles. Adjustable sensitivity lets drivers select a response that supports deliberate pedal inputs and predictable vehicle control when trail conditions become demanding.

The controller offers Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+ modes, each with nine sensitivity levels. With 36 total settings, drivers can fine-tune the accelerator behavior for everything from smooth driving to more aggressive off-road response.

Installation connects directly to the factory accelerator pedal connector and requires no cutting, rewiring, or specialized tools. The plug-and-play setup takes fifteen minutes and can be removed without permanent modification.
