Throttle Response Controller for GX 470 (2003–2009)

The Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller provides GX 470 drivers with adjustable control over accelerator sensitivity. By modifying the electronic signal between the accelerator pedal and ECU, it allows throttle response to be tailored to different driving conditions without changing the vehicle's underlying engine output.

Factory electronic throttle programming is calibrated for conservative operation, which can delay pedal input and engine response. Pedal Commander changes the signal mapping to provide a more immediate accelerator response.

The GX 470's capability extends well beyond pavement, making predictable throttle control valuable on technical terrain. Adjustable sensitivity lets drivers choose pedal response for rocks, steep sections, and other trail conditions.

Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+ modes provide four response profiles, each with nine sensitivity levels. 36 configurations give drivers a broad range of control, from smooth commuting to more responsive highway and off-road driving.

The controller connects directly to the factory accelerator pedal connector without cutting wires or requiring specialized tools. Installation takes approximately fifteen minutes and can be fully reversed without permanent modifications.
