Throttle Response Controller for 1st-Gen Tundra (2003–2006)

The Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller gives 1st-Gen Tundra drivers greater control over accelerator sensitivity. It modifies the electronic signal between the accelerator pedal and ECU, allowing throttle behavior to be tailored to different driving conditions without changing the truck's underlying engine power.

Factory throttle programming is calibrated for conservative operation. Pedal Commander changes the signal mapping to reduce the delay between accelerator input and engine response, creating a more immediate pedal response.

The Tundra can be equally at home towing, commuting, or off-roading. Adjustable throttle sensitivity lets drivers select a response that matches the task, from smooth control to quicker reaction during highway and trail driving.

Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+ modes provide four distinct response profiles, with nine sensitivity levels for each mode. The 36 total settings make it easy to fine-tune accelerator behavior instead of relying on a single factory response.

The controller plugs directly into the factory accelerator pedal connector without cutting wires or specialized tools. Installation takes approximately fifteen minutes and can be fully reversed without permanent changes to the truck.
