Throttle Response Controller for GX 550 (2024–Present)

The Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller gives GX 550 drivers greater control over accelerator behavior without changing the vehicle's engine output or factory throttle hardware. By altering the electronic signal generated by the accelerator pedal, it allows the vehicle's response to be tailored to the way it is being driven.

Electronic throttle systems are designed to provide conservative pedal operation. Pedal Commander changes the signal mapping to reduce the sensation of delayed response and create a more direct accelerator feel when desired.

From highway to off-road driving, the GX 550 encounters a range of environments. Adjustable throttle response lets drivers choose characteristics that complement low-speed maneuvering, acceleration, or technical trail work.

Eco, City, Sport, and Sport+ provide four different response profiles, each with nine sensitivity levels. The resulting 36 settings give drivers fine control over accelerator behavior rather than limiting them to a single response calibration.

The controller plugs into the factory accelerator pedal connector without cutting wires or modifying the vehicle harness. Installation takes fifteen minutes, requires no specialized tools, and can be removed without permanent changes.
