Overview

The Factor 55 HitchLink offers a simple and effective way to turn your vehicle's factory 2-inch receiver into a dedicated recovery point. Instead of relying on heavy steel recovery inserts, the lightweight aluminum HitchLink provides exceptional strength while remaining easy to handle, store, and install.

Design

Slide the HitchLink recovery point into a standard 2-inch hitch receiver, secure it with a 5/8-inch hitch pin, and it's ready for recovery operations. Its straightforward design allows for quick deployment whenever recovery is needed.

Construction

Precision CNC machining from high-strength 6000-series aluminum allows the HitchLink to weigh only 1.9 pounds while maintaining a 9,500-pound working load limit and an impressive 51,000-pound minimum breaking strength.

Compatibility

The generously radiused recovery point opening is designed to work with both traditional 3/4-inch shackles and modern soft shackles, helping reduce abrasion while providing greater flexibility for a wide range of recovery setups.

Safety

For proper operation, recovery pulls should always remain in line with the hitch receiver. Factor 55 recommends using only a high-quality 5/8-inch alloy hitch pin and never exceeding the vehicle manufacturer's receiver hitch rating.
