The Mohawk 2 in Hitch Receiver Recovery Point is engineered for both strength and versatility in demanding recovery and towing applications. Its warm-forged 6082 aluminum construction offers superior durability and corrosion resistance. The receiver features two hitch pin holes for preferred positioning and a third hole with a spacer, allowing for rotation to accommodate Class I and II trailer hitch balls. The large radius on the shackle mount reduces wear on synthetic recovery gear, a frequent failure point on many receivers. Designed to fit any 2-inch hitch receiver, it can also be adapted to 2.5-inch receivers using a separate adapter. Laser-etched logos and specifications ensure a professional finish and authenticity.

Forged from high-strength 6082 aluminum with grain flow oriented for optimal load distribution. The spined perimeter adds material where structural strength is critical. The receiver includes dual 5/8-inch hitch pin holes for flexible installation and a third hole with a Grade 8 steel spacer to support a 3/4-inch shank hitch ball in a rotated position.

The receiver’s clean, functional design minimizes sharp edges that commonly damage soft shackles and synthetic ropes. A large radius on the main mounting hole reduces abrasion and extends the recovery gear's lifespan. Its aggressive styling is defined by a spined outer perimeter providing extra material in high-stress areas.

A rotatable receiver feature allows use as a trailer hitch ball mount with a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds and gross trailer weight rating of 3,500 pounds. The included spacer supports Class I and II hitch balls with a 3/4-inch shank diameter. This functionality enhances the receiver’s versatility beyond recovery applications.

Fits all trailer hitch receivers with a 2-inch square opening. Adaptable for 2.5-inch Class V receivers with an optional Class IV to Class V adapter. Adapter is not included. Dual hitch pin holes enable mounting position adjustment to accommodate different vehicle configurations.
