Dissent Off-Road Front Bumper for GX 550 (2024–Present)

The Dissent Off-Road Front Bumper is designed to enhance off-road capability while preserving the GX 550’s refined on-road behavior. A high-clearance profile improves approach angles, while the modular steel construction delivers confidence-inspiring durability. Careful engineering allows the bumper to integrate seamlessly with factory cameras, parking sensors, radar systems, and the active grille shutter.

Fabricated from 10-gauge steel plate, the bumper features extensive internal gusseting for added rigidity and load distribution. Frame-mounted 1/2-inch steel recovery points are chamfered for soft shackle use while remaining compatible with traditional hard shackles.

The modular layout consists of a reinforced center section and separate wings, allowing precise fitment and serviceability. Integrated air scoops and open-frame lighting provisions promote airflow to the radiator and intercoolers, supporting cooling performance during low-speed and high-load operation.

The bumper is designed to accept Rigid Industries triple fog lights, sold separately, which visually align with the GX 550 headlight design. The center section also supports a 30-inch single-row light bar that can be installed without removing the bumper, offering flexible auxiliary lighting options.

Installation requires no modifications to the frame or sheet metal, preserving critical factory components. Minor trimming of factory plastic is required, with the process designed to be straightforward and installer-friendly. The bumper is compatible with OEM Overtrail skid plates and future Dissent Off-Road skid plates.
