Overview

The Maxtrax Xtreme Traction Boards represent a purpose-built evolution of vehicle recovery equipment, engineered for users who demand greater durability and more aggressive tire engagement. The system combines a reinforced polyamide body with 88 replaceable alloy teeth to create a recovery platform built for repeated use in severe conditions.

Traction

Each board incorporates 88 anodized alloy teeth that are substantially harder and more wear-resistant than conventional traction surfaces. Their aggressive profile engages tire tread quickly and securely, helping establish traction.

Integration

Each alloy tooth is set within a dedicated socket before being over-molded into the body. The material conforms closely around the tooth, while the proprietary thread and Bliplock system provide additional mechanical retention.

Design

Damaged teeth can be replaced rather than requiring an entirely new traction board. The board can be flipped over for service, and a T-50 Torx bit is used to remove and install individual teeth, making field maintenance straightforward.

Storage

Maxtrax Xtreme boards can nest with Maxtrax Mk II traction boards for compact storage, differing only in overall height. With vehicle mounting options, the system provides a recovery solution that can remain ready for use anytime.
