Overview

Overland Custom Design Heim-Jointed Sway Bar End Links are built to optimize sway bar function and suspension alignment after lift installation. Increased articulation, improved strength, and adjustability help correct geometry and maintain ride comfort in both on-road and off-road conditions. Whether replacing worn-out factory components or setting up a fresh lift, these end links deliver premium-grade materials and hardware in a customizable configuration.

Construction

Each pair includes 3-piece FK Heim joints equipped with self-lubricating nylon races for reduced friction and wear. Hex tubes are machined with right and left hand threads to allow fine adjustment in length, while B7 threaded studs provide 150,000 PSI tensile strength. Grade 8 fasteners and high-durometer polyurethane bushings complete the high-performance assembly.

Design

Purpose-built for lift-equipped Toyotas, the end links offer both extended and OEM-length options depending on the application. Rear links are one inch longer than factory, while front double Heim links retain stock length. The oversized design may require sway bar relocation brackets depending on fitment and clearance.

Fitment

These end links are not compatible with 6-inch drop bracket-style lift kits such as those from Fabtech, BDS, or ProComp. A sway bar relocation kit is recommended where clearance becomes an issue due to the link's extended dimensions. Installation should be performed with the suspension loaded at ride height for proper geometry.

Maintenance

Routine maintenance is required for long-term reliability. Dirt and moisture can dry out the Heim races over time, so regular application of a PTFE dry lubricant is recommended. This applies even to links with protective boots. Following a consistent maintenance schedule will prevent premature wear and keep joint movement smooth under load.
